My Style
I am not a fan of traditional pictures where you sit and say cheese, although I do believe that a little of that should be incorporated in each session. My style is rather to capture their little personalities. I have a ton of patience when photographing children so you can leave your patience for them at home the day of the shoot, I’ll handle them little boogers! If they want to bring their tattered old blankie to the session let them, you’ll one day appreciate that you have that memory eternalized. If they want to run around barefoot and get muddy feet, let them do that too. It makes for more fun. Life shouldn’t be taken so seriously and my work is definitely not meant to be serious either. Fun, creative and laid back is my style. I love meeting new people and trying new things. If you have a location you’d like to shoot at let me know, I’m up for it! • I love pickles.
• I am addicted to Burt’s Bees lip gloss.
• I often mess up numbers. Like 1,500 and 15,000. Big difference, just ask my husband.
• Ok, I admit it. I am a diehard Michael Jackson fan. I even had tickets to see him perform in London before he passed away.
• I hate to wear things more than once (no big surprise, I’m a shopaholic).
• I am the youngest of 3 and the only girl.
• I order happy meals for myself at McDonalds.
• I eat lemons until my tongue is raw.
• Newborns are my weakness, being around one makes me want to have 5 more.
• I’ve been considered cute my whole entire life and don’t like that word.
• I sing loudly in the car when I’m alone and I have a horrible voice.
• Green is my favorite color.
• I puffy heart Baby Gap.
• I hate to admit it but I have lots of fun volunteering at our church bingo night.
• I am known for putting on my makeup while driving and may even paint my nails while behind the wheel.
• I don’t watch television, EXPECT in January when American Idol comes on and in June when Big Brother begins.
• My 2 kids are my heart and soul, its that simple.

Bio
Allison Leonard earned degrees in Visual Communications and Fine Arts from Ohio Dominican University in 2001. She has worked in various disciplines within the field of graphic design, including branding, layout, web design, and photography. Allison is proficient in editing photos using the Adobe software suite and enjoys the world of opportunities inherent in the use of software to create and expand the photographic possibilities. She works exclusively in Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding areas, preferably photographing in outdoor settings to use nature and natural lighting to enhance the quality of the images. Indoor studio sessions are also available upon request.

Allison is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) organization.
