This session was mainly for Nathaniel’s 3 month photos but also to capture a couple of Lucah and the family together. What a hot day! Boy did Nathaniel ham it up for the camera though…gotta love that gummy smile at that age!

Had a great time meeting this family and their little boys. I’ve never met a 7 year boy who liked to have his picture taken as much as Corey. Tyson was just adorable too and decided to take a little nap mid-session!

Meet 11 day old beautiful Ava. Such a sweet little baby. She was just so content to lay there and have her picture taken even if she didn’t want to fall asleep. Enjoy her sneak peek!

Lots of fun with this family, the girls were so adorable and so well behaved. They were like best buds…I’m sure when they grow up one they will cherish these photos!

I had mentioned earlier this year that I was accepted as a volunteer photographer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS). I don’t typically share any photos from these sessions due to respect for the parents. Last week I got a call to Riverside to photograph a little, baby girl who at 38 weeks was born still. All cases are extremely different I’ve found and I connect to each case completely different. For whatever reason this case was extremely touching to me and the feelings of remorse I had for the parents is unexplainable. If I could only take away their pain I would in a heartbeat. I can’t though but what I can do is provide them with beautiful images of their daughter that I hope can bring them comfort and peace in this difficult time. This organization truly touches my heart and I’d love for there to be more recognition of it for those other families that lose their babies. That is why I am posting this image (with approval of the parents) and asking all of you that know someone who may be in this situation to tell them of this free service. Oh, how I love Ella! She is just the happiest little girl and so darn cute. I did her photos a couple weeks ago, in studio, for her bday invites and this time we headed to the park for some outdoor and family shots. Was hard picking my favs to share with ya’ll.
