I’ve always been “that” girl with the camera.  In high school, I didn’t let a moment go by without capturing it on camera, in college I received my first point and shoot digital camera, but my true passion for photography was probably first born with the arrival of my first child.  I didn’t want to miss one smile, one tear, one look of wonder.

I truly strive to capture those natural moments that will still make you smile years from now.   It’s my passion and a talent that I believe I was born with.  This intense desire turned into a passion for me a couple years ago, a passion that I soon began sharing with friends and family and, now, with my clients. I can’t wait to capture a memory or two for your family–those moments that you never want to forget.

– Allison Leonard earned degrees in Visual Communications and Fine Arts from Ohio Dominican University in 2001. She has worked in various disciplines within the field of graphic design, including branding, layout, web design, and photography. Allison is proficient in editing photos using the Adobe software suite and enjoys the world of opportunities inherent in the use of software to create and expand the photographic possibilities.

Allison is experienced in working with a variety of age levels and photographic situations and thrives on capturing the personality of the subject in real-world settings, rather than posed pictures. She works exclusively in Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding areas, preferably photographing in outdoor settings to use nature and natural lighting to enhance the quality of the images.  Indoor studio sessions are also available upon request.
